I work weekends. I work from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Thursday through Saturday. I really don't mind working weekends I never really go out much, so working weekends is fine with my. The only time I don't like working weekends is when Joe Bob Briggs is having his Friday night marathons. Usually I'm up in time to see at least one of the two movies they show, and tonight I got extremely lucky. I tuned in right is this movie was starting, and left for work as the credits rolled.
Now sometimes I'll wake up and catch only one movie, and the movie sucks. Fortunately for me, I turned into an amazing horror comedy with amazing practical effects. Although this is the fourth movie in a series, I really didn't feel like I had watch the other 3 to understand what was going on. The movie does an amazing job blending excellent comedy with A Clockwork Orange style Ultraviolence. All of the kills and effects in this movie are amazing, and with Kane Hodder as the titular Victor Crowley its hard not to love this movie. Kane Hodder isn't the only recognizable face in this movie either, with Felissa Rose and Brian Quinn of Impractical jokers fame. And possibly my favorite cast member in the whole movie is Chase Williamson, who I absolutely loved in scare package. I put this movie in the same category as care package for being one of the most effective horror comedies I've seen in a very long time. This movie is straight-up gory bloody fun. What's not to love?
