I think the best way to talk about this movie is to break it down into each segment and talk about them as they appear.
THE STORY THAT CONNECTS EVERYTHING
within the first 2 minutes of this movie, we see boobs and a penis. just wanted to mention that. the story that connects everything just sucks. I have never cared less about anything ever. not even going to bother talking about it.

EYE CAMERA
this segment is... fine. the effects are well done, and the idea of the camera being in someone's eye is a great idea. when he looks through the peephole of his door, for example, is an awesome way to take advantage of the eye camera idea. it's not terribly original, but it has a few moments that make it worth watching. plus eye-gouging is always fun.

BIKE BOI BEING BITTEN
another mediocre segment. this one is better that he first, with much more gore and another creative filming style. having a POV of a zombie before and after he turns is a great idea. the gore here is also amazing, highlights being POV of eating a man's guts, and our lead shooting himself with a shotgun launching his helmet cam into the air. all in the middle of some poor kids' birthday party.

JERK OFF MANS CULT
This segment kicks ass. interviewing a leader of a cult is interesting enough, god they summon is brutal. mass suicide, legions of possessed people, cut open pregnant women, and an angry goat man. this is an amazing segment that is probably my new favourite horror short ever.
oh and if you're wondering why I call him to jerk off man, you should check out ABCs of death. after sitting through that nightmare segment you will probably only b able to see him as jerk off man, same as me.

ANGSTY TEENS BEING MEAN
This segment definitely feels the most real. bunch of kids fucking around with a video camera, thinking there hilarious. I think everyone did dumb shit with a camera when they were younger. I don't think many of us found some sort of Lovecraft style lake creature/creatures and filmed most of that experience via the family dog. this segment is one of the best in the movie and is some top-notch horror. this segment will make you glad you sat through the other ones.

Overall V/H/S 2 is a fun movie, if only for the last 2 segments. typical of me to call mass suicide and cut up pregnant women fun but hey.
