I had fairly low expectations walking into this movie. I saw the trailer and it looked kind of cheesy Oh, I thought I saw a more recent trailer and thought I'd give it a shot. I asked a lot of different people to go with me, but all of them refused. When I went into the theatre there was a total of 3 people there counting myself. At this point I thought it was going to suck.
But I think my super low expectations actually made this movie really awesome for me to watch. Having a nearly empty theatres kind of magical by itself, but this movie you really kicked ass for me in a lot of different ways. First of all would be the gore. Most of the Gores spoiled in the trailer, but that final kill had me literally giggling like a child. Yeah I'm a hundred percent normal.
Beginning is really slow, the middle parts grade, and the end turns the whole movie into an infomercial for why road rage against people is bad. But that middle part has some really wild shit.
The man who calls himself Tom Cooper will stop at nothing to torture her, and make her whole family suffer. He is ridiculously violent, doesn't care who's sees him, and has openly stared that suicide by cop is fine by him. This man is pure rage, and that will always be scary.
But even if you are pure rage, if you go after a moms kid, that mom will murder you ASAP.
UPDATE: FEB 18TH, 2021
this movie is jaws. Instead of a fin in the water, we get a truck in traffic. or more accurately for the modern times, a confederate flag decorated lifted truck in truck in traffic. just one anti-mask redneck asshole in the crowd could snap at any time. as if wasn't already scared of that.
