TWIN PEAKS THE RETURN EP4

I never noticed this before, if you look under the credits for sound design there's only one name.

DAVID LYNCH

Also for the very first time, I was sitting around at work and suddenly got very excited that I could come home and watch more Twin Peaks. As my shift went on I started thinking about other stuff, and when I got home I was once again greeted by that excitement to watch more of this show. Pretty crazy that a TV show I've already seen a few times can still get that reaction out of me.

A FURTHER STUDY OF DOUGIE JONES

I love how in this series most women's reaction to Cooper is genuine concern and fear, and almost every male character either doesn't give a shit or doesn't notice.

I was going to call this but further study of comatose Cooper, but in the episode he refers to himself as Dougie Jones so My hands are tied here.

I love how I'm threatening the casino bosses as well when Cooper finally gets his jackpots comeuppance, And we also are introduced to the fabulous Janie E played by the incredible as always Naomi Watts. She definitely hands it up a bit in this part but it's because she hands it up that this character is iconic as it is. The fact that the kids name is Sonny Jim further makes this feel like a parody of TV Just like Twin Peaks, and there's no way in hell that's unintentional.

WHAT THE FUCK MOMENTS

This episode gives us tons of great moments like the owl that flies over Dougie and a wonderfully awkward limo driver, the iconic scene with David Duchovny's return as FBI director Denise, Dougie's breakfast to Take Five, Dougie goes pee, Bobby Briggs crying at the sight of Laura Palmer's photo with some actual fanfare, Chad is an asshole, Andy is a very good actor, Wally Brando stops by, and a VERY STRANGE visiting Mr. C in jail
