as soon as i here the opening text crawl, i am super excited to watch this movie again. the gruesome corpse display paired with that flash bulb sound effect make the opening to this movie the best you can get.
i feel like if you are enough of a horror fan to stumble on this blog, you have seen this movie before. so you already know how awesome this movie is.
it kills manage to be super effective without much gore, the opening is probably the best opening of all time, and most of all the amazing cast of characters. the hitch hiker is perfectly disturbed and unsettling, Drayton Sawyer fits in perfectly, and of course Gunner Hanson as leather face is one of the best parts of this movie. he is given a lot of character through his silent kills, his strange excited grunts, and of course his table manners. Joe Bob said this is the best horror movie ever made, and its hard to argue with him.
maybe if Franklin died in the first 2 minutes it would be the perfect horror movie.
