THE GREAT SATAN

If this is your first intro to the found footage collective EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE movies, i recommend getting high as fuck and watching this movie with 0 context.

i have enjoyed EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE content for a long time now, and even if that name doesn't ring a bell you probably have to. a lot of the clips they have dug up end up becoming pretty popular memes, to the point where you will probably recognize at least one or two memes from these movies. most of them have no real direction, and believe it or not out of all of there movies this one probably comes closest to having a plot.

and when i saw the closest i mean its the same VHS quality tapes stitched together to meander through the biblical tale of Satan. the main goal of this movie is just to laugh at how ridiculous the concept of the devil is, and how ridiculous religion is a whole. people get so easily offended when the topic of religion comes up, so it nice just to laugh at the absurdity of all organized religion.

horror fans will love the brief clips from CHILD'S PLAY, SOCIETY, BASKET CASE, and a few other hidden gems of the horror genre. just like all of EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE its hard to sit through the whole thing as if it were a real movie, but there is a lot of great editing jokes and fun to be had.

maybe i'm just high as shit, but i love these wacky ass drug trips through time.
