SLITHER

I remember seeing this movie in horror section at a few diffrent video stores, but i was never curious enough to rent it. And man i wish i knew how awesome this movie was or i would have watched it years ago.

This movie takes place in a town alot like Twin Peaks. Everyone knows each other, theres a buncho of wacky characters, and some super dangerous evil characters thrown in for good measure.

Speaking of evil characters, Micheal Rooker is a truly nasty edition to the movie. Before the real plot even begins, Grant is the worst tyoe of man imaginable. Over the course of the movie he continues to transform, and every stage of his change is disgusting perfect.

The gore is extreme and practical, we get a lovley shunting scene society style, Nathan Fillion, Micheal Rooker, Pam from the office, some great Alberta tunes, and some great comedy. The Mayor always makes me laugh, and there are alot of great editing gags. This movie is an amazing black comedy that i keep coming back to for its amazing special effects.

But what else do you expect from James Gunn who also directed both Guardians movies, Dawn of the Dead (a personal favorite), and both live action Scooby Doo movies.
