Honestly, this movie was a lot better than the half ass cash grab i was expecting.
this movie surprised be. In the first 30 minutes i thought i knew who the killers were, but i was pleasantly surprised when i was wrong. other than that i dont feel like there is much to talk about here.
so this wraps up the scream series for now. as a whole, i think the scream series is rare in that there isn't a bad movie in the whole series. it drags on a bit in the middle but each movie in the series so far has added something interesting to the series. Sidney is one the best final girls in horror history, and is a great example of how mass tragedy dose not have to ruin your life. she constantly kicks ass and comes through each movie stronger, and more prepared for the next movie.
and my sweet handsome baby boi ghost face. no matter what the setting or how bad the movie is, i always get excited to hear his voice. ghost face will never grow old for me, and i would watch him do literally anything with that sexy ass voice. i think if this movie had anyone else as a killer i wouldn't have made it to the 4th movie.
this series started strong, had an equally strong sequel, and ended with some dignity

I was really itching for some ghost face content, but I've seen the first and second movie so many times now I wanted something different. So I figured why not revisit scream 4, as I remember having fairly positive memories about that movie. Turns out I have only positive memories about that movie even today.
The real strength of this movie or it's characters. Sidney, Dewey, Gale, and even Emma Roberts character are all handled really well. But by far the best character in this movie is the Ghost-face himself. Roger l Jackson is hypnotizing his ghost-face voice, and in this movie he's as violent as he's ever been.
Massive shout out to the actor behind the mask for the kill scenes in this movie for giving ghost face such a brutal personality that still feels Right at home with the previous portrayals. All of his scenes are well acted, well shot, full of excellent tension, and of course brutal as fuck. As far as ghost face being actually scary, this is as frightening as the character gets.
All the screen movies have this wonderfully magical atmosphere that I have always loved, and I really hope when scream 5 comes out they continue that same feeling of continuity.
I love turning my brain off to watch sexy Ghost face being a spooky stabby boy.

Im sorry what? there making another one? seriously? what? it coming out in 2022? hopefully that dose not end up being the first bad movie in the series.
