Normally when i review anthology movies, i summarize each segment in its own little review. but i really don't see much of a point doing that with this movie.
and its not because i don't enjoy this movie, quite the opposite actually. i love this movie to bits, and it really speaks for itself. some segments are better than others, some acting is better than others, but all of the segments in this movie are fun and gory as hell. its easy the most effective horror comedy of the last 5 years, and i love it just as much now as when i first saw it. its the perfect light hearted Halloween movie, with enough gore to keep the hardcore horror nerds happy.
i mean really, how does one describe the intangible beauty of a perfect fall day? how would one describe the sheer bliss of falling in love? no man , no matter how sharp a tongue, can describe my utter delight at seeing a man melt into a goopy puddle of nasty sludge.
we really need to get more comedy writers in horror. just not Chris Rock. never again...
