RUPTURE

I mean it worked for Deadpool right?

All i knew going into this movie was i had seen it before when i was younger, and it involves a women getting kidnapped. every time i scrolled past it on Netflix i would think "Oh shit i remember watching this movie. dont remember if i liked it though."

well i am here to report that i did indeed like it. mostly. rupture has a lot of cool ideas. the idea that there are a group of people who have been watching you for along time works really well. they watch you for years, get you alone, drug and kidnap and expose you to whatever you fear most. that is an idea i absolutely love. that being said, the movie feels a little bit slow. i imagine thats just because i have seen this before and know what to expect. but the spooky stuff in this movie all works really well for me. if your deeply scared of spiders and stumbled on this movie, i have to pity you. i dont have a strong fear of spiders but the spider parts made me cringe 100%

kinda hard to talk about this one without spoilers so i will keep it short. if you like a well acted abduction movie, then i highly recommend watching rupture
