Paramount Releasing ‘Friday the 13th’ 40th Anniversary Steelbook Blu-ray in May
Well I bought it and watched it high and holy shit is it a trip. The Bluray quality on my TV was amazing. I had seen it in horrible quality before, i have only ever seen this movie in DVD quality. This is the first time I've ever watched an 80s movie that looks like it was shot last year. Not only that but this Edition has the extended kills they had to cut from the first one. This movie is an awesome chance to see what Tom savini can do in high quality and up close.
This movie is full of charming characters, my favourite being Rufus. Crazy old man who keeps showing up to tell them that they're all fucked. I love him so much he is my special boi. Then we got a guy who I cannot remember the name of for the life of me oh, but I call him 88. He's supposed to be the hyper and annoying jokester, but I honestly really like him. His jokes are shit and i can relate to his plight. Betsy Palmer is also creepy is over, and I love watching her run around like a crazy bitch.
So please if you love the first one go to Walmart and spend $20 on the steelbook Blu-ray of Friday the 13th. Then turn off all the lights, light up pumpkin scented candle, throw some headphones on, and most importantly get very high. This is the best $20 I've ever spent.
10/10
