DEATH VALLEY

That poster looks like a Xenomorph with bad acne. actually quite a few self care issues now that i'm looking closer...

Mercenaries with nothing to lose are hired to rescue a bio-engineer imprisoned in a cold war bunker. Upon entering the ominous facility, they find themselves in a fight for their lives when they come under attack from an unknown and deadly creature. you know... like OVERLORD.

When this movie starts, it feels like you just stumbled into the last act of some SPIKE TV style action movie. who are these people? why should i care? what the fuck is going on? the soundtrack is as cliche as possible, our leading(?) lady isn't much of an actor, and over all this opening feels lazy and unnecessary. this movie isn't much for first impressions.

and when this movie finally starts for real, its everything the opening made me fear it would be.

the fact i gave up on this movie before the 10 minute mark might as well be the whole review.
