AUDITION

This movie ends up on a lot of those ever popular disturbing movie lists, and thats exactly how i came to find this movie for the first time. it was basically pitched to me as having a nasty ending that was worth the wait. And yes this movie does have a crazy and disgusting final act, the rest of this movie is just as great.

this movie has been one of my favorites for some time now. its a great love story, mystery, thriller, comedy, and family movie all wrapped up into one. Aided by its long run time, this movie is excellent at shifting tones without feeling out of place. this movie feels like one of the most relatable foreign films i have seen, and that has a lot to do with the amazing acting of the whole cast.

im having a hard time thinking of any negative thing to say abut this movie.
