AS THE GODS WILL

The Netflix series 'Squid Game,' which was released on September 17, is being accused of plagiarism as netizens are saying the series has a vast similarity to the Japanese film 'As the Gods Will.' On this say, a number of online communities suggested that 'Squid Game' is similar to the Japanese film that was released in 2014. In particular, suspicions were deepened starting from the first episode when the characters were brought to play the first game.

my parents had a fun little parenting technique that this movies opening instantly reminded me of. If you were ever foolish enough to say you were bored in our house, the nearest adult would be there to tell you every job that needed to be done around the house so you wouldn't be bored anymore. ya learned real fast not to admit boredom.

I love how this movie tosses you into the deep end by getting to the games in the first two minutes. who are all the characters? what caused this to happen in the first place? don't worry about it, just focus on the strange doll man thing who is causing peoples heads to explode with red marbles and a fountain of blood. soon enough you realize that this movie opens near the end of the first game, and we still have plenty more games to get through. the first thing i love about this movie games are all of the supernatural elements. SQUID GAMES is limited to what humans can accomplish, and this movie is completely limitless. and if you are like me and though that this movie was going to take place only in the school, you will presently surprised to learn that this movie has a lot larger scale than even SQUID GAME.

the best part of this movie is by far its pacing. its keeps the games coming fast and hard, and even the quiet moments of this movie are packed with mystery. and as for the games themselves, they really put SQUID GAME to shame with the amount of brutality these type of narratives have to have to be effective.

I'm really not interested in talking about what SQUID GAMES did and didn't rip off, but i have no problem telling you that I prefer this movie by far to SQUID GAMES. both have there strengths and i enjoy both, but the brutality and character of this movie is hard not to enjoy.
