Alright who the fuck thought they could name a skinny white guy spider? Spyder is reserved for tattoo artists, radio DJs, and prisoners with face tattos.
This movie is... fine. as with any anthology, there are some really good sections in here. the first story (after the shitty criminal intro) is one of my favorite short films. its shot in a very unique way, and the creature and gore effects are amazing. But unfortunately, the intro segment suggests the the rest will be just as good, and that simply isn't true.
In order for anything found footage to look realistic, it has to look like some random every man is filming, and there cant be to much CGI. Unfortunately, when you give some random kid/adult a camera, its usually super mundane and boring stuff. this film is a good idea of how to make a realistic found footage movie, and a boring one. kind of a Stephen King's "On Writing" for making found footage horror shorts.
the majority of its runtime, i would describe this movie as downright boring. lots and lots of build up with unsatisfying delivery. the plot that ties every story together is uninteresting, the characters are disgusting. but there are a few good shorts in here, so good in fact its worth watching for the very few good ones.
