We should hook Charlie up with an Etsy shop.
Hereditary was the very first movie I ever saw in theatres by myself. It is quite literally an experience I will never forget. The depictions of grief in this movie are insanely believable, so much so it can be hard to watch. Toni Collette truly was robbed of an Oscar for this one. Her performance is gut-wrenching, terrifying, and at the same time i have alot of sympathy for her character.
It's hard to talk about the movie without spoiling a lot of it, but I found the entire movie works very well. The supernatural elements don't seem too ridiculous, and the movie is the definition of suspenseful The ending has stuck with me for a long time, and the first time i watched this movie i was genuinely on edge. I seen a lot of horror and I'm fairly desensitized but this movie left me speechless. If you haven't seen it yet, you simply have to see it. Don't watch any trailers just go in totally blind.
I will always love this movie, even though i will never be able to recapture how i felt the first time i saw it.
